McIver's Oxford Community Men's Shed

Our Goals are to:

  • To have a place to meet and work together.

  • To create a safe, supportive, caring and respectful environment.

  • To create an active environment in which skills, talents and knowledge can be shared with others while fostering relationships.

Our shed has been established to meet the needs of our surrounding rural community. As well as the typical carpentry tools and machines, we also have a small but well equipped metalshop which members are welcome to use.

Ladies are welcome to work on their own projects at the regular session on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm, for a nominal $5 charge.

The shed welcomes donations of tools, timber and other materials, which are often used for the various community projects we complete each year.  Useful lengths of framing timber are always in short supply! Please email us with any offers, or call Ray on 022 408 7755.

Our thanks go to HMBS Ltd who kindly donated the building.
